AFI Hosts Israel Activism Retreat for Student Activists
This weekend, Anteaters for Israel hosted a weekend retreat in Big Bear, CA in an ongoing effort to educate student activists at UC Irvine and several other Southern California campuses about current issues facing the State of Israel.
Over 35 students of various ethnic and religious backgrounds attended the retreat including members of Alpha Epsilon Pi (the Jewish Fraternity), Alpha Epsilon Phi (the Jewish Sorority), and Hillel: Jewish Student Union.

Participants learned about issues surrounding Hamas, the 2008-2009 Israel-Hamas war, Jews living under Muslim rule, Israel’s imperfections, and the Palestinian narrative. Â Sessions were led by student leaders, Hasbara Fellows, and Hillel Foundation of Orange County staff.
The event was sponsored by Hasbara Fellowships, StandWithUs, and the Hillel Foundation of Orange County.

Keep up the great work AFI!
Thank you @activist!
